Art is not a Spectator Sport

I've always been fascinated by art and design, but never content to just observe. Taking a thought or idea and giving it a tangible existence in print or digital form is like putting a puzzle together. That passion drove me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. Double minors in Graphic Arts and Photography also came in handy when beginning my career in print design and Pre-Press operations in the printing industry. Later, I pursued illustration, honing my skills in both physical and digital media.

The Perfect Storm

In 1992, the Internet emerged, catching my attention. All my skills and training converged to design usable and beautiful websites. I worked in the private sector for over 16 years before moving over to the public sector in 2014.

And Now...

Today, I continue to leverage my skills and the latest technology to create new and interesting things that benefit the citizens of Nashville, TN. I am currently happily employed with the Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County and I find working in the public sector to be far more rewarding than anything I have done to date.

My portfolio covers a range of web design, illustration, print design and logo design spanning over 20 years. I've had the privilege of working on projects for many clients across many areas of business including banking, medical, entertainment, product sales and government. It's always fun to listen to a client's idea and then take those thoughts and mold them into something they can really use. My portfolio also features some of the 3D printed projects I enjoy creating. Take a look through my body of work. It speaks more about me than I can put into words.
